Tjombe enjoys rugby in Scotland

IT is barely two weeks since Diamando Tumbee Tjombe (22) moved to Scotland to play rugby, however the former Namibia’s U-20 international player did not need much time to settle in at new club Jed-Forest after making his debut the first week he arrived in Scotland. Tjombe made his debut on 27 October in a Scottish Cup round of 16 matches against Boroughmuir in a 23-12 win for his side, which will see his team take on Edinburg Accies on 25 January 2020 for a place in the semi-finals. He previously played amateur rugby in South Africa at Stellenbosch Rugby Academy and at Western Rugby Club in the Namibia Rugby Premier League.
