‘Forgotten’ Uri-Khob hopes for Brave Warriors call-up

Sadney Uri-Khob, who plays professional football in Tanza- nia for Young Africans FC in Tanzania’s Mainland Premier League, said he has not spoken to incumbent Brave Warriors coach Bobby Samaria since the latter was appointed coach in July. Uri-Khob (27) is still regard- ed as one of the country’s top strikers of the last decade and is one of the few senior national players to have played for Na- mibia at all youth level. At national level he had an topsy-turvy career for the Brave Warriors due to injuries and little game time at previous clubs. Uri-Khob signed his first professional contract with Amazulu FC in South Africa in 2013 before he went to play in Thailand at Saraburi in 2015; SuperPowerin2016; Jumpasri in 2017; Police Tero 2018 (all Thailand); MedaninIndonesia (2018 for few months) before returning to Namibia earlier this year.
