South Africa rejects the allegation that white people are disproportionately targeted by crime. As that country’s President Cyril Ramaphosa alluded to in the meeting with United States President Donald Trump, murder rates are high in the country and the overwhelming majority of victims are black.
A total of 79 young table tennis players converged on the Wanderers Sports Hall in Pioneers Park in Windhoek over the weekend to compete in the third tournament of the Arysteq / Simonis Storm Schools Tournament Series 2025. The tournament comprised of 27 junior girls and 52 junior boys, representing a 35 percent participation rate for junior girls, aligning with international guidelines to increase female participation in the sport.

Swapo’s secretary general (SG), Sophia Shaningwa, has rubbished former member Reinhold Shipwikineni’s resignation from the party, as a ploy to destabilise the organization from within.
Out-of-school youth and marginalized groups as well as students at the Namibia Community Skills Development Foundation (COSDEF) and the Welwitchia University are the biggest beneficiaries in a partnership forged between the two institutions recently.
COSDEF and Welwitchia University have committed to offering scholarships and fellowships to deserving students in order to promote equitable access to higher education.

Given the electric nature of those covered by the book, not to mention the shadiness of some of the would-be personalities, ala the author, it is difficult to discern the meaning of personalities in this regard.
