Best Gospel Award artist Maranatha Goroh has teamed up with South African gospel minister Ntokozo Mbambo for the release of a new song “All We Need”.
Maranatha’s last song “At Your Feet,” was released last year.
The song is a live recording that captures a moment of worship, surrender and complete dependence on God.
Maranatha said the song is a worship song that carries a simple but powerful truth: “Jesus is all we need.”
The singer said she hopes when people listens to this song, they will be reminded that regardless of what life brings, nothing compares to having Jesus at the centre of our lives.
“I believe the song carries s a message that people need to hear, especially in a world where so many are searching for peace, hope and fulfilment,” she said.
Maranatha said by the song they want to tell people that Jesus is enough.
The artist said by the song she wants people closer to Jesus and gets reminded that his presence is more valuable than anything this world can offer.
“We live in a world where people are constantly searching for fulfilment, peace, love and answers in so many different places. While many things in life have their place, nothing can replace our relationship with God,” she said.
Maranatha said every song that she releases comes from a different place and carries its own expression.
She said with “All We Need,” she wanted to create a worship experience that allows people to move beyond simply listening to a song and truly engage with its message.
“The live recording brings a different dimension to the song because it captures the atmosphere and expression of worship in that moment. For me, it is not necessarily about changing direction, but about continuing to grow as a minister and finding new ways to communicate the same unchanging truth of the Gospel,” she said.
Maranatha said teaming up with Ntokozo was an experience beyond the music and reminded her of the beauty of collaboration. She believes this collaboration is an opportunity for Namibian and South African gospel music to connect in a meaningful way.
“Minister Ntokozo carries something very special, and sharing this moment with her was both humbling and inspiring. Working with Minister Ntokozo was an incredible blessing. She carries such a beautiful grace and depth in her ministry, and having her be part of this song made the experience even more meaningful. I am grateful that we could come together through music to share a message that points people back to Jesus,” Maranatha said.
