FNB Namibia has once again been recognised as Namibia’s Best Banking Experience at the 2026 Best of Nam Awards, after winning the category through public voting for the third consecutive year.

The award reflects the bank’s continued focus on customer-centred banking, innovation and delivering accessible financial solutions that respond to the changing needs of individuals, families and businesses.

FNB Namibia client experience head Quinten Potgieter said the recognition reflected the trust customers continue to place in the bank.

“Being recognised as Namibia’s Best Banking Experience for the third consecutive year is incredibly humbling because it comes directly from the people we serve,” Potgieter said.

He said the award showed that customers valued not only the bank’s products and services, but also the quality of interactions and support they receive.

The recognition highlights FNB Namibia’s investment in digital banking solutions, financial inclusion, customer service and initiatives aimed at making banking simpler and more accessible.

The awards ceremony also highlighted the bank’s continued commitment to education, with FNB Namibia sponsoring the Education category at the Best of Nam Awards for the second consecutive year.

FNB Namibia consumer banking head Hans Karon said education was central to the country’s long-term development.

“At FNB Namibia, we believe education is one of the most powerful investments any nation can make,” Karon said.

He added that education, combined with access to financial tools, enables people to make informed decisions, seize opportunities and contribute to economic growth.

Through the FirstRand Namibia Foundation and strategic partnerships, FNB Namibia continues to support initiatives aimed at improving access to quality education, strengthening learning outcomes and empowering young Namibians.

The Best of Nam Awards recognise businesses, organisations and individuals that have earned public confidence and support through excellence in their respective fields.

FNB Namibia said it will continue investing in innovative banking solutions, customer experiences and initiatives that contribute to Namibia’s social and economic development.
