Well-known South African comedian Conrad Koch and his puppet Chester Missing, alongside other talented comedians, will perform in Windhoek at The Hoeked Comedy All Stars show at Mövenpick Hotel Windhoek on 12 September.
Andy Heuer, producer of The Hoeked Comedy All Stars, said the team brought some of the biggest names in comedy to Namibia last year and that this year, the bar has been raised even higher.
Heuer said the 2026 edition is headlined by Dilan Oliphant, the newly crowned winner of the Savanna Comedian of the Year 2026, who is bringing his sharp observations, energetic storytelling and unmistakable comedic style to the stage.
Jar Jar and Courage the Comedian will also showcase their talents.
“We are bringing together a line-up of comedians who are not only stars, but have been recognised among the best in the business. Dilan Oliphant is known for pushing the boundaries of traditional comedy and performance, while Koch and Chester Missing promise a show experience that is unlike a conventional stand-up set,” Heuer said.
Heuer said while last year’s event introduced audiences to an impressive collection of comedy stars, this year’s edition takes a different approach.
“This year is about recognition. It is about comedians who have earned their place at the top. The show is about performers who are being recognised for their contribution to comedy and who continue to find new ways to make audiences laugh. Last year we brought the stars. This year we bring the award winners,” Heuer said.
Heuer said comedy fans, entertainment lovers and anyone looking for a night of big laughs are invited to join the celebration as some of the most recognised comedic talent takes the stage.
Koch said he cannot wait to bring his new jokes to Namibia.
“I love coming to Namibia. It’s such a ‘lekker’ vibe. Everyone is up for a good laugh. People can expect to see my most famous puppet, as well as my cast of hilarious characters, including turning the audience themselves into puppets. Chester Missing fans must make sure to come and say hi,” Koch said.
Courage the Comedian said comedy events are like therapy sessions and described them as a happy place. He said his father wanted him to become a doctor, but he chose comedy because he believes that laughter is the best medicine.
“Comedy events are good because they bring people together from different backgrounds into one relaxed space to be happy. If you have never been to a comedy show before, then try this one,” the comedian said.
Courage the Comedian said audiences can expect reconciliation, unity and healing among different tribes and nations.
“Fun is not only clubbing and festivals. Come witness fun like never before. Heck, be different – bring that crush on a date to this comedy show and I guarantee that you will stand out,” Courage the Comedian said.
